1. Not a medical device
Breathe is a general wellness application. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and does not provide medical advice. Content in the app is for relaxation and general well-being only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
2. Breathing exercise risks
Breathing exercises — especially rounds of fast, deep breathing with breath holds ("power breathing") — alter blood gas levels and can cause dizziness, tingling, muscle cramps and, in rare cases, loss of consciousness. You agree to:
- practice only while sitting or lying down in a safe place;
- never practice in or near water (bath, pool, open water), while driving, standing, or operating machinery;
- stop immediately if you feel unwell;
- consult a physician before use if you have epilepsy or a history of seizures, cardiovascular disease, high or low blood pressure, respiratory illness, panic or anxiety disorders, if you are pregnant, or if you have any other medical condition.
The app displays these warnings and requires your explicit confirmation before power-breathing sessions are available.
3. Assumption of risk
By using Breathe you voluntarily assume all risks associated with breathing exercises. You are solely responsible for your own health decisions and for practising within your abilities and medical limitations.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KirsuLab LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages — including personal injury — arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app. The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
5. Purchases
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Refunds are handled according to Google Play policies.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always available at this address with its effective date.
