How do I add books to Yoly?expand_more

Tap + in the library and pick files, or a whole folder, from the Files app. You can also open a book from Files, Mail or Safari with Open with and choose Yoly. Thousands of free classics from Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks can be found and opened right inside the app.

Is Yoly free? Are there ads?expand_more

Yoly is free, with no ads and no account to create.

Can Yoly read a book aloud?expand_more

Yes. Any page can be read aloud with the voices already installed on your iPhone or iPad.

Does my reading position sync between devices?expand_more

Yes, through your own iCloud. Your place and settings follow you, and with Books in iCloud turned on the books themselves are kept there too.

Can I make the text easier to read?expand_more

Pick paper, sepia, light or dark, add warmth and dimming for reading in bed, and choose a serif, sans, Jost, a dyslexia-friendly font or one of your own. Text size, margins and line spacing are yours to set. On iPad in landscape the page can split into two columns.

Does Yoly collect any data?expand_more

No. There are no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking. Your books, highlights and notes stay on your device and in your own iCloud.
