Privacy Policy for Evermur

This policy explains what Evermur collects and why. In short: we do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or location, there is no account, and all the sound plays on your device. We use Google Firebase to collect anonymous usage analytics and crash reports that help us understand how the app is used and fix bugs. Evermur shows no advertising on its own — the only ad in the app is a video you can choose to watch from the About screen to support the developer, and that ad is served by Google AdMob (section 3).

1. Data stored only on your device

The following stays locally on your phone and is removed when you uninstall:

• Settings — the selected soundscape, intensity, volume, sleep-timer choice, and the optional brainwave (binaural) preset.

Evermur has no account and stores no personal content.

2. Analytics and crash reporting (Firebase)

Evermur uses two Google Firebase services, which send data to Google (acting as our service provider):

• Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous, aggregated usage data: in-app events (for example, which soundscape was selected), a randomly generated app-instance identifier, your device model and operating-system version, app version, language, and a coarse region derived from your IP address (the IP address itself is not stored by us).
• Firebase Crashlytics — when the app crashes, it collects a diagnostic crash report: the stack trace, device state at the time (model, OS version, memory, app version), and a randomly generated installation identifier.

This analytics and crash data is not linked to your real-world identity, is not sold, and is not used for advertising. It is processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy and security terms (see Google's Firebase privacy documentation and Google Privacy Policy).

3. The optional "watch an ad to support" video (Google AdMob)

Evermur has no banners, no pop-ups and no ads between screens. The About screen offers a single button that plays one rewarded video, and it does nothing unless you press it — the advertising SDK is not even started until you do, so if you never press it, no ad-network request is ever made from your device.

When you do press it, Google AdMob serves the video and, as an advertising provider, processes data from your device to select and measure the ad. Depending on your region and your choices this can include: your advertising identifier (a resettable ad ID) or an equivalent identifier, coarse location derived from your IP address, your device model and operating-system version, the app you are using, and interactions with the ad itself. This data is used for advertising and ad measurement, which means it is shared with Google as an independent recipient rather than processed only on our behalf.

• In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a consent screen appears before the first ad. Choosing "Do not consent" is a real option: you will still get the ad, but without personalised advertising. Your choice is remembered and you can change it by clearing the app's data.
• On iOS the app does not ask for permission to track you and does not request the app-tracking identifier at all, so ads there are non-personalised.
• On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your system settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

4. Permissions

Evermur requests no sensitive permissions: no location, no camera, no microphone, no contacts. Network access is used only for the Firebase analytics and crash reports described above, and for loading the support video if you ask for it. The background-audio capability is used only to keep the sound playing with the screen locked.

5. Data retention and your choices

Analytics and crash data are retained by Google/Firebase according to our project's retention settings and Google's policies, and are used only in aggregate to improve the app. To request deletion of crash/analytics data associated with your device, contact us at the address below.

6. Children's privacy

Evermur is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not collect names, emails, or precise location from anyone.

7. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell your data. Analytics and crash data go only to Google (Firebase), which processes them on our behalf. If — and only if — you choose to watch the support video, the advertising data described in section 3 is shared with Google AdMob for advertising and ad measurement. There are no other recipients.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
